Took my R1S to the Seattle SC for a tire rotation and inspection which they did while I waited. Afterwards they said it needed an alignment (pulls to the right, seems to be the common direction). They got me an appointment in two weeks. Covered under warranty as it is less than a year old. I live and work in Bellevue but the Seattle SC is much faster and better service. Highly recommend.

I needed an alignment a few months ago on my R1T after off-roading, so out of pocket and not under warranty. It was way worse after the initial alignment but they got it back less than a week later and it was fixed.

Not sure if this matters, but I noticed after the second alignment kneel mode was turned OFF, while it was still ON after the wonky initial alignment.

I honestly think that small setting made a difference and that the first tech didn't notice and didn't bother to turn it off. Might want to turn OFF knee mode just in case. It may or may not help but I think it did in my case.

Getting an alignment today on my R1S at a non-SC shop in Denver area. SC wait was too long. S is pulling right after one tire replaced because of unfixable slice. Price is around $300.
Which one? How was your experience?

The SC is saying they can't do an alignment on "aftermarket" equipment.
Well that's just false. My last realignment was after a warrantied subframe replacement, in which I had non-OEM wheels and tires. Ironically the same visit they reprogrammed me from 20s to 21s so my 275/60R20 tires would speedo correctly.

My R1T is pulling to the right. Not a lot but enough where it is noticeable when I don’t use driver+. Has anyone gotten an alignment at a Rivian Service Center? Done somewhere else? If done at Rivian do you remember the price? My closest one is 2 hours away so only using bring it there if I have a list of problems (which I don’t have right now). Thx a bunch!
I had my wheel alignment within the first year and it was free at the South SF service center. Also had it done the second times I think when I had my first tire rotation but that one I paid, I couldn’t remember how much though.

Pro-Tip....if you get a new cast subframe under warranty....you get a free alignment.

Thx for everyone’s reply. I am going to wait until I need something done at the service center, then have them do the alignment at the same time. It is not that bad and the closest one to me is 2 hours away. Happy Halloween!!

Mine squeaks tires and slips on leaves too easily while turning. It drives fine on straights. I don't know if that can be related to alignment or bad design. The tires also have more wear on edges despite not running below 48 PSI.

Scheduled an alignment anyways. This is second one and I will see if it helps. First one was free but was billed for 4.5 hours. I can't afford $1000 alignments.

Are you sure it is alignment? I took my R1T in to get recalibrated for 21s after swapping out my 20s and the vehicle came back from the SC pulling right. People have complained a lot about this for a while and some have said independent shops fixed it with alignment but I’m inclined to think their calibration just set the steering wheel crooked somehow because if I’m driving “straight” the wheel is tilted slightly left and I can’t imagine that after 30k miles it just suddenly had an alignment problem that coincided with the SC “calibrating” it. So I’d have them take a look and determine if it is actually alignment or some calibration issue.
