Go test drive a Model S Plaid ... the Rivian will seem slow.

Drive a Lucid and plaid will feel slow ?
Only the Saphire. Otherwise, the Lucid feels (and is for Pure and Touring) slow compared to my R1T.

We are only at about 3,500k on the tires. We will be rotating at probably 6k or 8k.....we don't know, I might start using All Purpose on my daily drive since I can charge for free at work.
Good idea. Most would recommend all purpose rather than Conserve to let the vehicle operate as it is designed to do, even when you're driving it slowly. I have only used conserve two or three times over 6k miles, and that was only when on long road trips trying to extend range. I use all purpose for normal driving, and all purpose feels much safer and secure, at least in my opinion.

I have been crushing mine from the day I got it! Hit 111 straight out of the gate! The 0 to 111 is impressive! I'm an experienced driver with a 3 Porsche history that includes a European delivery, Autobahn speeds and Nurburgring laps. I have had 2 land cruisers, 1 jeep, and 7 Land Rovers (5 of them Range Rovers including their v8 supercharge), this R1s is next level. Hopefully the snow mode is comparable to the Range Rover. If not it's gotta go by by!

Punching the R1 is not my thing; I do have another car that goes fast on 0-60 and 0-100. However, I'm surprised that how stable my R1S when at 110mph (on Interstate).

I will admit that I now look forward to a traffic light (on a highway I frequent) turning red as I approach so that I can stomp on the go pedal when it turns green. I try not going over the speed limit but as far as I know, there is no law preventing how quickly you can get from 0mph to the speed limit - so there! Go pedal stomp justified :)

There is, ish. Its reckless acceleration and most states have some sort of law for it. Usually only applied when you're roasting tires tho, the Rivian just hooks up and goes.

I switched it to ALL PURPOSE this morning. We are taking a trip to Disneyland lst next month and will switch it to conserve since it is a 500-mile drive. Thanks for the idea!

I put it in Sport Mode and hit the watts full on on a freeway on-ramp.

I am a believer. LOL
? I do the same and find this to be most satisfying when I enter at slower speed staying in the accel lane until someone comes along at freeway speed then put it to the floor quickly passing them to enter the driving lane 8-10 car-lengths ahead of them.

Everyone should do this with an ICE driver passenger, who thinks they have a "quick" car. Make sure you put some towels on your seat first, incase they piss themself.. :)

It’s fun but it lacks the heart and soul and the visceral driving experience of a fast and loud performance engine. Me and my buddies all agreed it’s stupid fast and fun but it’s just not quite the same. Still an absolute blast having this kind of performance in a good daily driving truck compared to a purpose built machine.

I’ve tried conserve a couple times and I find the truck pretty lethargic, plus you don’t even have the option of all wheel drive and full power if you need it quickly. What sort of miles per kWh have you gotten running like that?

I'm with you on the sound. No replacement. I have 63 Falcon Sprint that's being made into a 2700# , 500hp autocross car. That car is quick, but also white knuckle scary! The Rivian is quicker and I can hold a coffee cup while doing it :)
