Any windshield differences between Gen 1 and Gen 2 for "custom" sunshades?

I really like the rigid folding reflective Covercraft sunshades for my vehicles, but they say the shade for the 2021-2024 does not fit the 2025 models. I think they probably have just not updated their database to include the 2025, but can anyone confirm there is no difference in regards to rear view mirror, sensor, or dash interference?

Specifically, I'm looking at this: Amazon Covercraft link

Thanks!

I would also like to know. Thanks.
I ordered and received the Covercraft sunshade that was listed to fit the 2021-2024 models for my 2025 and it fit fine. It's a little tight and not quite as nice of a fit as in other vehicles, but I think this has more to do with their template and not due to any differences from Gen 1 to Gen 2.

It makes a tremendous difference when parked in the sun all day!

Good to know. Would it be this tight on a gen 1 model? Maybe should wait a bit for a slightly better fit?

I have both the Covercraft UVS100 Premier and Official Rivian Windshield shade and honestly I prefer the official Rivian one from the gear shop.

That is not to say the Covercraft is bad, far from it but some things I prefer about the official Rivian shade (all based off using with our 2023 R1S):

-It's thicker so it seems more durable and seems to do a slightly better job at blocking light and heat
-It's heavier at 3lbs! Yes, 3lbs for a sunshade!
-It has an attached velcro strap to keep it closed when not in use
-It has the Rivian logo in the corner (not all that important but still cool)

The only downside to the Rivian shade is that it is a bit of a tighter fit so it takes a few seconds longer to pop in the window when compared to the Covercraft.

If you have other questions about it let me know. I had originally filmed a comparison video but never posted it because I did not think people would be interested but let me know if it is something you want to see and I can get it up on my channel.

That’s great to know about the Rivian sunshade. For some reason I assumed it was an overpriced floppy one, so I got the Covercraft, which has been great. The Covercraft takes a second or 2 to finesse it into position correctly past the thick A-pillar trim and mirror, but it fits nice and flat once installed. For the extra $35, the Rivian one seems like a great choice as well, and the strap would be very convenient.

Cheers-

I would definitely love to see the video. Thanks
