App function pre purchase

I have a Gen 2 R1S deposit placed, delivery Aug/Sept.

I downloaded the Rivian app and was amazed at how sparse it is. I can’t plan a trip or find amenities near chargers. I can’t filter chargers by company. I don’t even see Tesla chargers.

Please tell me this app somehow gains significant features once you purchase a truck.

Um….. Nope. It's pretty sparse.

For finding charging/amenities, you'll want the apps/websites A Better Route Planner (which Rivian owns) and PlugShare.

Yes, it's worthless without owning a Rivian.

We would the Rivian app provide any meaningful content to you prior to owning and connecting to a Rivian vehicle?

I didn't use it before buying. I can tell you that it does do planning and show all compatible chargers when you do have one.
