Let's hope! These new tariffs/de minimis removal will probably discourage this to some degree as well.To me it seems unlikely they'd copy something complicated and costly like your system for such a rare vehicle? Now, if Rivian pushed out 500,000+ vehicles per year that might get China's attention for a lot of aftermarket accessories. But producing 50K vehicles/year might just be too small a number to be profitable for them to mass produce something (which is the secret of their success, small volume manufacturing is something they're not interested in) other than mud flaps and similar simple items for.
In this day and age the hardware is a bit of a commodity anyway. I feel a lot of the value will come from new features and hardware expansion
