Anyone else getting an error activating Apple Music? “Subscription Not Found”. It has been working fine since I got the truck in Dec 2024. Since the last update, I just get the error.

I checked my Apple ID/Account. No changes there. Music works fine everywhere else.
Rebooted the vehicle. Reconnect WiFi. Same error.

I had a similar message earlier this week, but can’t recall if it was the same. It wouldn’t let me sign in under my account, but if I tapped to sign in under a new account, then put my usual log-in info in, I was back in business.

You need to sign out of Apple Music from your phone and then sign back in. After copy the Url from your Rivian for Apple Music. Then it worked for me.

I'm having the same issue. I didn't try logging out of Apple Music, though. I'll try that. Thanks, VC.

I just got mine to work again. I didn’t need to log out of my Apple Music and log back in. I just selected on the Rivian screen to log into a different account. When it provided the QR code to scan, I went through the same process, but selecting login through a different account tricked it into working. Same as ciderarchitect said above, I hope this helps.

This is the way.

I also had this happen to me this week. Doing above (selecting to sign into different account) worked. No additional gymnastic required. 🤸

I had that issue earlier this week. It was a little fussy as I did it in the driveway and as soon as it said authenticated I drove away. The way my driveway is made, my truck seems to grab and drop WiFi a couple of times while leaving. Needless to say this made the login barf on itself and I had to do it again when on LTE. But since it's been fine.

Thanks, chaps. Finally worked for me this morning. I was not getting the “sign out to use a different account”.
What worked was: switch vehicle profile to my wifes, switch back to mine, sign out of account, reactivate with new QR code.

Definitely a bug introduced in last update. SW/Vehicle reboot will not fix. As a number of owners have reported - the work around is select another account and follow the prompts.

this is the simplest and best way to address the issue, thank you!

no need to log out on your apple device. Just tell your Rivian to login using a different account and scan the QR code and you are set.

Still getting this issue. Have tried all the above suggestions, did infotainment reset, plus full system reset. I am always forced to log into my apple music as a “different account” (my accounts are really old and they used to have to be different) but still getting the “subscription not found” issue. I even deauthorized all my devices to make sure i wasn't exceeding the usual 5…

any other suggestions? I can strem music via bluetooth so its not the end of the world…just really annoying….
