My biggest criticism of our R1T to date is the paper thin bodywork - not being able to *lean* (I weigh 215Lbs) against the truck without 'popping' door panels is weird to me - could they really not have lived with the extra 20-30lbs to make the truck much much more solid feeling? Someone once described the R1t as a supercar that looks like a truck, which is horribly on point.
Yep. I have my first dent removal appointment this Saturday. I have a feeling this will be a common occurrence every couple of years. Good news is it's not very expensive. Taking care of 2 small dents for $250. I have a feeling they would do 3 or more at that price too.

I've had my dual motor/large since the end of September and I'm coming up on 7k miles. I've had no significant issues and I'm yet to need to schedule any service. Probably the biggest issue so far is a tailgate latch/sensor that twice has been non functional and says that the tailgate is open when it's actually closed. It's still drivable but the proximity sensors turn off because of it. Both times the issue was resolved by slamming the tailgate and/or a sleep cycle.

It's really hard to exaggerate how thin the truck's body is. I bought it to replace a Ram and have so far not done any truck things with it as I'm worried it's going to be permanently disfigured loading and unloading. Love the car, but man, the skin it's made of tissue paper. Will probably end up getting a beater to do truck stuff...ugh.
Between that and the backseat door being smaller and not opening a full 90 degrees has been an experience. Makes loading/unloading 3 dogs a bit more challengingly. Even more so with no completely flat floorboard... Meaning wear and tear on the seats even with a proper cover.
(300 lbs of total dogs)

Still love the truck, but yeah, this is not meant to be a work truck by any means unless you go slow and steady. And even then mistakes happen...

I will say, coming from a RAM before, I'm eyeing the Ramcharger and their full EV just to see how it compares.
Though I rather have the R1S I think at this point in my life. Until then, I'm going to enjoy this truck to its fullest! Definitely a great vehicle and the best experience I've ever owned.

My DM R1T from October has been fine with only minor issues that service has fixed (clips on truck bed, etc). Besides that, a hard reset/software update has fixed all the issues I've had.

I have a PDM R1S since late September. It has been problem free, only small issue has been a little part of the headliner was not glued by the front driver seat belt. A little glue and patience fixed it.

My under standing is everything is the same as the quad, so unless you have motor failure or issues with driveshafts (might even be the same as quad) you have the same luck across all the models at testing the warranty.
