Audible Device Sync

Any heavy Audible users -

I'm noticing the new app isn't syncing book location between devices. My iPhone recognizes and picks up where it left off in the truck, but when launching a book in the truck it doesn't pick up where I left off on the iPhone.

Anyone else?

Mine seems to be working pretty well so far. I do listen to Audible on my phone and also my watch and have noticed at times that they do not sync. I would expect the same from the Audible app on the truck. I think it’s just an audible thing unfortunately.

I've been an Audible user for more than 20 years (1,900 books in my Audible Library) and went to sign in to Audible in our R1S to check it out and couldn't! I still use my Audible username (rather than my Amazon account) for Audible and signing in with a username isn't an option. I never switched to using my Amazon account because other family members enjoy my Audible account and I don't want them having access to Amazon. Not a complaint...First world problem. I'll continue to use my phone and then I won't have any sync issues.

Same, heavy user and not sync with my other devices. Hopefully it gets fixed. I love the app being in the Rivian.

I think it is an Audible thing. Had the same issue between web app and phone app. Have not listened much in the truck since the update but I assume I'll have the same issue. Nonetheless I hope somebody can fix it. I hate skimming through chapters trying to remember where I left off.

Same issue here. I have the impression that the native app sounds better than bluetooth via the phone, but losing the location in the book is a deal killer for using the app. Might be useful for long trips, but otherwise, will stick with the phone. Hope this gets fixed!

Same issue here. This severely limits the usefulness of the app and is really a shame.

I've opened up a service ticket for this and requested for it to forwarded onto the team inside of Rivian that is assigned responsibility for maintenance of the app. I suggest that others do the same.
