I have recently noticed (since the .51 update) that every time I get into my vehicle, the audio volume has set itself to 20, no matter where I had it at when I exited the vehicle.

Anybody else noticing something similar?

I haven’t noticed that specifically (yet), but that update definitely messed with the audio again

I have had that issue in the past few months.
When I'd put the truck in drive or reverse the audio was at full blast.
It stopped after one of the last few updates but has come back intermittently and is very annoying.
I had the truck in for service and they said all was well with the audio, just a glitch I guess but a bad one, not fun at all!

Yep. Except mine defaults to 15 sometimes but other times it just goes about 8 steps higher than where I left it. Happened right after the latest update a few days ago. Highly annoying, and sometimes deafening.

I've had this happening as well. Doesn't matter which input (radio, bluetooth, etc.) they all default to 20 once I come back to the car after it has locked and powered down.

And now it is fixed… didn’t see any software update happen on my R1S but it just stopped happening and works normally now…. :)

UPDATE: started happening again a week or so ago... I've gotten used to pausing music when I leave the car, then checking volume setting when I get in next before hitting play...

I had a software update the other day and it fixed it. Once.
Now it's back to deafening levels, smh.

Same with me. Fixed it for about 3 days. SC just told me to do the bluetooth connection over. I did. We'll see.

Similar problem here. Mine doesn't default to 20, but seems to be 6-8 notches higher than where I left it. Definitely MUCH louder. For me, seemed to occur only after the latest software update (2021.51.31).

Seeing the same thing. Volume used to stay at last known value. Started with .31 update.
