Blacking out lower front and rear trim?

Does anyone have vinyl kits for blacking out the lower front and rear trim yet?

I was thinking about plastidip/hyper dipping mine but vinyl would be much better since it’s such a large area. Evsportline or twraps would probably be the ones to come out with those lower pieces. And when they do I’ll probably get them for my S.

For an area like that with bends and contour, I think a DIY wrap might be more than most people can successfully accomplish. A pro wrap installer would probably be a good option.

FINALLY THIS IS COMING UP!

I black wrapped my front last year and IT'S THE BEST. I can live with the silver butt, it looks decent back there with badge and accents, but that random silver up front looks cheap. I'm set on doing my wife's R1S that way too.

We actually started working on the rear one the first time we got a Rivian, but never finished it. Figured it's a bit too hard to install, and likely many people will mess it up. I can give it another shot next time I get a Rivian though...the front one is much trickier because it goes way under the hood, and gravity works against you...so in one hand you have this humongous piece that you need to wrap, in the other hand, the vinyl wants to go in the opposite direction while you need to be precise down to the millimeter for this to work nicely. So I think the front one is not really viable unless you do like this...

Maybe, that plasti-dip stuff would work? If you screw it up, can be peeled off. I've never used it personally, but know that people use it on wheels pretty regularly. Just a thought. I'm with Twraps on this one, would be a royal PITA to try and do it yourself. Although, it is down low, so if it's not perfect, probably wouldn't be able to tell unless you got down on your knees to look closely. Just random ideas for whatever they're worth

Could you oversize it by a small amount and let people trim it after install? might mitigate some of the precision needed for the install and make it a little easier.

Yes, that might work... I will try again next time I get a Rivian but can't promise about this one. While super super nice, I need to find a way to make it somewhat humanly possible to install.

You might gauge interest before you put too much work in... I don't think I'd install it, the silver doesn't bother me and I got a full PPF (not sure how much of that got covered in the install, but still)

I wasn't a fan of the silver...
Then I high-centered, and REALLY wasn't a fan of scratched up silver...
