Buffering issue with Amazon Music

I just acquired my R1S a couple of weeks ago. One consistent issue I've noticed is when I play Amazon Music I experience what I perceive are buffering issues where the songs sound like an LP being played at 12 RPMs. I don't experience this with Sirrius, does anybody have any solutions, similar experience? Thanks.

In Rivian, Amazon music connects via Alexa which only buffers a second or two. So, you need a good constant cell signal or you get a lot of gaps. Spotify and others download an entire song at a time, so intermittent cell gaps have no effect. We live in the mountains where cell signals get blocked by terrain as we travel. Amazon music basically does not work well here.

Yeah, I finally gave up on Amazon Music in the Rivian and switched to Tidal because of this. It hadn't been too bad until a software update earlier this year and then it became intolerable.

Amazon music is trash on my home stereo also, which is wired to a 2 gig and very stable connection. It's just another garbage service from Amazon.

I feel the handoffs between cells towers is the issue. Outside of the city it never has the issue you mention. During my commute it cuts out in the exact same areas. I still believe its something Rivian did that messed it up.

This doesn't happen with Apple Music, and I use it in the middle of nowhere as well as all over several cities.
