Don’t have a charger at home since I live in a apartment complex without chargers. Went to an Evgo station to get to 100% for our road trip in the morning but it was stuck at 99% for over 10 mins. Is my battery or the BMS messed up?

left it at 99% but on my 5 mile drive home it still read that I have 99% and 284 miles left on range which I thought was odd. Usually if I charge to 85%, when I get home it would be at 84%

Honestly I have never found a scenario for me where the time to go from 95% to 100% was worth the extra miles gained and I have been driving EVs since 2016.

With this latest update I've found it charging to 1 or 2 percent under the stated set amount. I don't really mind it as I rarely use all the range and even charging to 100 I don't think I would push it that far where that 1 percent mattered.

Maybe this is just how Rivian is dealing with battery degradation.

Perhaps if your battery is degraded by 1%, it won't ever show more than 99%.

I’ve noticed the same recently when I needed 100% charge at home prior to trip. Stops at 99 and doesn’t drop any the first 6-7 miles. I suspect one of the last few updates caused a calibration issue with what it reads. Even charging to 75 it stops at 74

Charging to 100% can take forever for the last 1% since it’s top balancing the pack. 30+ min isn’t unreasonable.
