And two of those guys work for Rivian, so I imagine their experience with the truck really helped when doing the modifications.
I love these videos, it's the right to repair future I want.

Today though, them having access to RiDE diagnostic tooling, which standard consumers don't hurts. They can show off customizing the vehicle's boot screen, but I as an owner cannot clear my 12v DTC after changing batteries :angry:

This is by far the coolest thing I've ever seen done in a Rivian.

We need more of this in the world, and as @kallisti5 mentioned, right to repair is critical for projects like this to happen.

Edit to add:

I think the way to the record is a Lucid Gravity.

It has significantly better efficiency and faster charging than a Rivian with plenty of room in the back for extra batteries.

I personally wish Rivian would focus more on faster charging than autonomy-whatever. Autonomy appeals to a small group of enthusiasts while faster charging makes EV's appeal to a much broad group.
