I always tell people these are just big iPhones. Sometimes you just do a soft reset. My audio Bluetooth stopped working today. Just did the soft reset and it came back. With so much software that is continuously improved random software will happen with infotainment.

the beautiful this about this is it has some separation from the drive system. Which give some since of safety. To test this you can soft reset and right when the screen goes black you can drive like nothing is wrong while screens are black. Haha

Try the "Vehicle" icon that shows the front view of the Rivian. You are on the four tire icon that includes different information.

I just washed mine this morning. Running the latest update.

After infotainment reset, it’s back… wow that’s a first.

There's an occasional bug where the software stops displaying the most recently used non-pinned item that's normally here:

If it happens, that item won't be in the unused list above either. Infotainment reset will cure it.

It weird, I just saw the second part of your post after quoting you. Didn’t see it in your original post. Thanks for the info. Hope it’s a bug they fix.

I see the vehicle icon directly above your red oval. Can you not use that to get to the proper screen?

This is the screen I’m missing, icon isn’t in the list anywhere. I think a infotainment reset is in my near future.

After infotainment reset, it’s back… wow that’s a first.

A few days ago I lost the icon to switch the cameras between front and back. A software reset fixed it. Guess we all need to be aware of this stuff going forward

That is a screen capture from the YouTube video that UnsungZero_OldTimeAdMan linked. Not my truck. (See the mouse cursor?) I used it to explain what I was missing. Did you read the thread or just look at the pictures?

Anyway this issues is solved, as Dark-Fx and W1SE both said it’s a bug that can cause any of the icons to disappear. The fix for now is an infotainment reset. Hopefully Rivian notices and will fix it.

If you pull up from the bottom you don't have a truck icon?

I washed my T yesterday and it came out of car wash mode twice. Maybe I need a reset too.

The mode is designed for automated car washes, not hand washing. It times out by design.
