Cargo bars- is there a horizontal attachment?

Meaning- if you have a set of cargo bars on your Rivian R1s… one in the front and one in the back, is there a piece of hardware that will connect the front and back to make a connected square on top of the Rivian? Something that attaches a bar from the front cargo to the back?

No- just looking for a bar or something to go between the cargo bars… one for each side…

Longitudinal is the word you’re looking for? to bridge fore and aft crossbars? Bars only… Nothing straight off the shelf. You’d have to custom fabricate something and attach using clamps or with t-bolts or t-nuts. If a relatively flat cargo platform is what you’re after, Yakima, Thule and Rhino Rack all have products.

No. There is not an attachment for those crossbars for that type of application.

I think the closest is the MOLLE panels from [Overland Nomadic](https://overlandnomadic.com/), but it's an entire panel.

Try the Thule platform rack or similar system. Best pic I have of my setup, it's pretty low profile and I can move it to the top of the cab if I want. I started with the mounts from Thule, but I removed them and just use some t-slot bolts to fasten it to the Rivian cross bars.
