center screen icon next to driver's name?

Am assuming this icon indicates software updating or so? Have studied manual and YouTube, but I cannot find what itmeans?

Have studied manual and YouTube, but I cannot find what it means?

New feature #2398247 that hasn't made it into the manual yet. Seems to be a more common issue as new software features are released for these vehicles. E.g., being able to swipe up on the icon bar, where is gear guard located now, etc.

Think they should just include an addendum on Page 1: "If you can't find it in here, ask on rivianforums.com", LOL. ?

Sorry for bringing this up from the graveyard, but when I press that icon I get a long bar like the original picture and then I get to see 2 minutes of video about 15 seconds after pressing the icon, not before.

Is that due to a slow usb?

Could be different things, try a reset. It defeats the purpose if it starts recording 15 seconds after. What happens when you hit the horn? It’s supposed to do the same function of saving clip.

As Mobius1 said, try a reset. I just pressed the icon and let it record for 15 seconds. When I go to the screen to watch the Drive Cam, which says Saved on your storage device, it shows me 30 seconds of video…15 seconds prior to recording plus the 15 seconds I let it record.

Haven't tried it. but will go do a soft reset and test on my morning drive.
