Charging Schedule Issue

Received delivery of my R1S two weeks ago and installed a Tesla Universal Wall Connector. I’ve used the charger a few times and haven’t noticed any issues until this morning.

Got home late last night (1am) and plugged into the charger. I have it scheduled to charge between 9pm-6am through the car, and not scheduled via the Tesla system. Got up this morning and checked my app and realized it never charged. Walked to my garage and jumped in and realized it’s now charging outside of my scheduled time. See attached picture. Do I have something setup incorrectly? Is there a way to add two schedule times? I.e. 12pm-3pm and also 9pm-6am.

Also, I noticed in the history the below times. I assume this is the time plugged in but not actually charging. Just wanting to confirm.

I have both my ChargePoint charger, and my Rivian set for 12-6am. The time I didn't have them both set, it never charged.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong or not, but I've just left it that way and it works.

I’ve had this happen multiple times. I think what happens is that when you have a charge session schedule set, it will work as intended the first time. If you manually stop the charging session before it completes its scheduled charge, the system thinks you’ll want to continue that same session upon next plug-in. Only solution I’ve found was to either unplug it again, then replug. Or manually change the scheduled charge time, then change it back, so the schedule can be picked-up again. Hope that helps.

What software version are you on? In the previous version there was a bug and my charging schedule acted funky a few times. Since updating to 2024.7 I haven’t noticed any issues. I have a Tesla wall EVSE and the scheduling is all handled through the Rivian.

Right now I’m plugged in and it’s charging outside of my scheduled hours. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and it’s not charging, which is correct. Just strange….
