Chrome or Blackout Emblems - from which vendor would you recommend?

Almost a year in, blackout emblems from @AO_Pete still holding up well.

I'm wondering if your installer just didn't create any templates to properly reinstall the factory emblems. My installer created templates marking out every single location of the emblems/letters when he handed them back to me. Even though I told him originally that I was going to install aftermarket emblems.

The Abstract Ocean set will come w/ the templates for the letter alignment, so it'll make reinstallation a bit easier. I eventually gave the templates to my PPF installer so he could use it for his other customers (when reinstalling factory emblems).

Doesn't matter. Rivian blocked all 3rd party emblem sales. OEM is the only legal option now other than used/second-hand.

They are still available from Abstract Ocean, just not publicly. If you email them, they will just send you an invoice to buy.

What is your experience with 3rd party made Rivian emblems?

AO has great products, my entire blackout set has been on since they offered them and I love them, at least 40k miles and still looking great.

Again- he returned the OEM emblems he removed. Other than the emblems backing looking goopy with the old 'glue' still attached, I don't really know what the issue is.

He must be out of elbow grease... ?

Abstract Ocean will still sell them, they just can’t advertise it. They had a message up saying to email them what you want and they’ll work with you to get what you need.

While maybe true, that’s ridiculous and the easy work around is that they are selling emblems of those letters and shapes …significantly cheaper probably….
