Configuration Confirmation without Guide contact?

Has anyone else received an Email from Rivian telling them that Rivian is ready to build their vehicle and asking you view your configuration and make suer it's what you want? I haven''t been assigned a guide. Seems odd.

It says call your guide to make changes. Have you logged into your account to see if you have a guide assigned now and maybe just didn't know it?

I got this around the same time I received a guide contact. I just let the guide lock my configuration during our phone call.

I have not but that seems like the new direction they were heading based on that email from Tony Caravano.

I could tell you that, but then I'd be lying. My delivery window is June-July 22.

The issue I'm having is that I'm not 100% sure about the colors I have configured. I like the silver, but I worry that there will be a glut of silver as that is the only no additional cost color for orders after 3/1. Like when I see a truck load of teslas on the freeway. The majority of them are white.

Keep in mind that silver was also the color they were having tiger stripe issues with. If it is a tossup between that and another I would probably opt for the other.

Yes, that was the first thing I did after getting the email. No guide has been assigned. It says that I could request a call from a guide, which I didn't do because it wasn't a good time for me to talk on the phone.

Keep in mind that silver was also the color they were having tiger stripe issues with. If it is a tossup between that and another I would probably opt for the other.

White was a premium color for the longest time and black was free. For all you know Rivian could discontinue the silver like Tesla did. Get what you want!

Got the same email today, confirmed my configuration online, have not been assigned a guide. My delivery window was Oct-Dec.

That's my favorite non-LG color. Do it!
