These look like they don't need to cantilever out from the frame nearly as far as a typical Toyota rock slider since the rivian frame rails are very wide (from one of the munroe teardown videos). It looks like the mounting surface with the slotted hole near the slider will press up on the frame and it is only maybe 3 inches from the slider so perhaps the brackets are adequate. I do agree though that there needs to be pictures/videos of them in use. Jack up one side of the vehicle with a hi-lift, and drop onto some rocks so we know they can handle it.

It's a worthy point. The Munro video highlighted the fact that the Rivian frame is something like 6 in wider than the Lightning despite being several inches narrower of a vehicle. So, the frame that you're bolting to is a lot closer to the edge of the vehicle than typical.

Also material dimensions claim to be 1.75" round tube and 2" square tube...much more like it. But no pics of the mount location, 500 lbs rating is questionable given it ought to support the truck, and the weight of the truck is 7100 lbs, not 6000 lbs.

Would need more details on the Team 1EV 'sliders'. Nothing about the products weight or actual testing scenarios they've been put through. Not nearly enough information to make me feel comfortable given there are no real world reviews either.

Well, it’s certainly a bit more information than the manufacturer of these $2000 has offered. And the price is better. 1EV offers a running board version and an armored slider version as well.

500lbs is the rating for the running boards only.

Worst case is you have 1,100lbs of bend, right? How much is that in mm???

yes, 500lbs is for the running boards ONLY.

The sliders are MUCH higher - our engineers are going to share a load analysis and material spec shortly.

I think putting out the video yesterday was a great example of what customers can expect from the quality of your product.

I know a lack of running boards on my current vehicle comes up occasionally from passengers and my wife. Unfortunately my R1T is still over a year out so you'll likely have a customer then, just need a truck to mount them to!
