I think that process has changed with the recent OTA, the add new phone key option location, or sequence in which it appears has changed. My phone had dropped the Bluetooth setting, then the dashboard had my phone key in it, but the key would not start the truck. So, I deactivated that phone, but reinstalling that phone was a bit of a task. I think the Android I had was part of the problem and the buffering and signal strength and the mix of things may be a problem.
It's like a relationship, you, the phone, the Rivian, as well the Operating System updating, maybe even ghosts in the air/clouds.
Removing a phone as a source of audio is one thing, as a key is another! do it while at home with the ability to be patient and cool.
Since the OTA the app says to “delete phone key” almost every time I try to use any functionality in the app. Try to start charging, delete key, vent windows, delete key. Anyone else getting this since the update?
