I’m just over three years in to ownership. Including this vehicle; I have bought the last three vehicles with my dogs in mind. That is to say, the “dog mode” feature on the truck is heavily used. I feel like knowing who their target audience is, in a Ven diagram (outdoorsy people with disposable income), it probably sides heavily on the dog side. So, why is the dog mode so far buried? If I’m running daily errands and making multiple stops with my dogs in the truck, I have to park, then, press the “vehicle options” button, the “more vehicles options” button, then the dog mode, and then press the engage dog mode. Then go about my errands and at each stop I have to go through that entire sequence again. So, why can’t we have certain buttons that we can place in the bar that we use on the regular?

Agreed. I also think that when you disengage it after getting back into the car, the A/C settings need to return to exactly how they were before you engaged PetComfort Mode. Right now, when you disengage, AUTO remains on and at high speeds. Everything should return to how it was.

this 100%. I thought I did something wrong when I got back in and disengaged the mode. To my surprise it was working as intended and I just needed to set everything back to normal. Slightly annoying tbh.

I usually just press the dog paw under the HVAC menu next to the steering wheel heat control, but something that could be added to the quick controls could be nice to save an additional step.

Would love to see an integration of pet mode tied to bluetooth within the dog collar. That way when vehicle is locked and pet collar is connected to bluetooth within the vehicle it automatically turns on pet mode. Easy way to sell more collars and prevent accidentally not turning on pet mode when needed.

This is how I do it too. So weird to me that they added it through vehicle quick controls, but it takes more presses to access that way. Rivian UI is so annoying sometimes.

Outside of pet mode, system should retain rear vent settings from trip to trip. I get so tired of having to remember to turn on the rear vents again every single trip (and my dogs get tired of me forgetting to on hot days, lol).

Start it in two clicks...

When you put it in Park, the tray appears in the upper-left of the screen (this is the one that allows you to quickly open the frunk, heat tunnel doors, charge door, etc.).

From that tray, click the icon in the upper-right corner, and Doggo-Moddo will be an option.
