Yep. These kind of Gee-whiz tech features are a complete waste of time and resources. I day dream of a stripped down R1T that is just a solid built truck. I wouldn’t even expect to pay less.I have something similar on two of our other cars... it is something that is cool to see once... you never use it after that.
Lucid has this in park modeMaybe it will use the cameras to give a wider view of the vehicle and surroundings as if viewed from a drone. This would be like the 360° view but bigger and from the perspective of a drone near and above the vehicle. I think I’ve seen this on another vehicle, maybe Land Rover?
Given it takes several minutes to usually connect to my car, I’d be concerned about insane latency.I'm surprised no one's suggested that 'drone mode' displays the camera views in the phone app, and let's you drive the vehicle from there.
Mate! That is the funniest post this month! Cheers!Turning your head will also show you where those people are.
Or maybe an odometer that is projected on the pano roof.Nah, too boring for Rivian. Maybe if you asked for an AR odometer which is shown floating in front of the vehicle on the center screen you’d see some progress.
