We need all the major convenience store and truck stop brands doing this. TA, Loves, Bucees, Sheetz, QT, etc. That’s when the real tipping point will be hit. There will still be challenges in less-traveled corridors, but those brands having solid EV chargers will make the vast majority of trips no stress.

GM is behind this, partnered with EVGO and pilot/Flying J. They have the Ultium branding at many new EVGO stations in Phoenix.

The fence around it is gone and now we have a coming soon sign on the chargers. These chargers are also now showing up in the Pilot Flying J app.

UPDATE: Pilot is telling me it opens on September 21.

At the peak Rivian charging rate (140 miles in 20 min claim), it's only $0.27 Kwh. Seems reasonable. Sucks for slower charging EVs though.
