Not a fan of a fossil fuel-powered RV trailer. My objective is to reduce my fossil fuel use, not increase it. And I don’t like gas-powered generators operating in a campground I’m using (I’m aware that Evotrex marketing says the generator will run while towing to a destination).

Generally I would agree. However, if this travel trailer can really DCFC an EV at 60kw with a quiet automotive engine and be half ton towable I'm all in. Lot's more info needs to be provided, especially about tongue weight. I'm guessing that's the reason the R1T wasn't towing it.

Would like to know tongue weight also. So the Rivian towing Evotrex trailer image isn't a real photo I guess? But I like what I see so far!

As I noted elsewhere:
A lot to like with the Evotrex. Except production start expected late 2026. First deliveries 2027. If they deliver on time and features and price doesn’t change, could be a real contender. All Chinese R&D, manufacturing, and financial backing. ā€˜Squirrel Power, Ltd.’ Guess it loses something in the translation. But great features list.
