240V inverter. The big changes listed simply can't happen. They need to return to full production quickly.

The rational features to implement, beyond cost savings, are simple to do and spur some extra demand.

I don't think Rivian will risk doing a heat pump as its part of a complex battery cooling system.

Just thought we'd have a little fun since people are so sure about what's going to happen in April. Cast your votes and we'll see just how accurate ya'll were come May.
Ummmm where do I pick up my Bingo card? And what's the prize?

I think it's mostly cost reduction.

However, I think anything that aligns the R1 and R2 platform may be part of the cost reduction. Standardizing components, architecture, and suppliers leads to lower overall costs, even if some of those savings are realized over time instead of immediately. So we may see some changes/improvements in things that are being standardized between the two vehicles.

Since I get my R1T today, what are the odds I might actually be able to order a tonneau cover during this shut down?

(manual is still coming s00n in the gear shop; powered does not exist in the gear shop, no vehicles in the shop had covers when I ordered in Feb)

RJ talked about that and he said that it can't happen with the current architecture but he did say that possibly an external invertor. I think the R2 might have the 240v inverter

Isn't redesigning the vehicle wiring changing the architecture?
