no, I already have the digital models of R1S in various file formats. they are perfectly to scale and very detailed. i just need someone who knows how to work with these files so I can share the files with this person.

Good God, everyone! Forget it...

I have files I shouldn't have. They are Rivian CAD files of all sorts that were given to me almost 3 years ago. Some files let you piece an R1S piece by piece...hundreds of designed pieces . I thought maybe someone could make the models not so comprehensive and full so others could use the models to help with creating accessories for all of us, legit 100% graphics, 3d printer files for replacement parts, etc.

Having said this- I now cannot share them!

You DM'd me a few days ago and Im going to reply here. I havent seen the data but you potentially have stolen data that is the property of Rivian. Anything you create of commercial value will be recoverable by Rivian if thats the case.

A simple wireframe screenshot from any of the programs would tell you if it is data from a design program vs scanned. Regardless of how it was acquired, if it is original design data, I suggest you surrender it or destroy it.

If you want to create 3D data, just get someone to scan a car. It will be relatively unusable for precise manufacturing of OEM parts and thats the point. If the data is scanned data, then very cool and share away and we can all collaborate here.

I doubt you will get anyone to help unless they know where the data came from.
