Getting Android Gemini to Work on Bluetooth

Looking for help from you Android aficionados. I am in the process of replacing my iPhone with a Pixel 10 pro. I cannot for the life of me get the Gemini to converse via the Rivian's Bluetooth. If I say hey Google it drops the volume but it responds with text and no audio. It seems to work better on Gemini live because the truck treats that like a phone call (!?!). Can someone help? Thanks

It stopped working a couple of software update versions ago. Not sure if it is Android side or Rivian side though. (My guess is it is google side as they like to mess with things that work well)
