Didn't you know that RJ and Wassym are smarter than Apple and Google, so they are bringing you a better user experience? That's why they insist on reinventing the wheel by spending so much expensive software engineering level of effort rewriting the DOZENS of MATURE mobile apps that are already avaiable via Apple CarPlay (ACP) and Android Auto (AA), since the rest of the Rivian software is so mature and bug-free and has every feature you could ever want.yes but the Google Maps app has this reporting function. I'm just trying to understand how much of it translates to Google Maps in the vehicle.
All waze features are in google maps for at least a year , waze may still build some quirky routes for you but all user reported data is in the gmaps alreadyGoogle owns Waze but keeps all of Wazeās best features out of Google Maps for some reason.
As far as I understand, Rivian needed its own navigation because CarPlay and Android Auto couldnāt pass the route to the car for charging and autonomy. Apple has now solved that with route sharing, and Tesla is already working on adding CarPlay around it. Itās not limited to Apple Maps either. Waze can work too, as long as it supports the new route-sharing feature. Maybe Rivian will eventually do the same.Didn't you know that RJ and Wassym are smarter than Apple and Google, so they are bringing you a better user experience?
