Discount tire has been my goto place for over 20 years because they are careful with vehicles, take time to hand torque the lug nuts and most importantly they take ownership when they mess up. I have only had one time where they messed up and they replaced every wheel on my car without question and apologized many times. I can't ask for better service than that. I am sure they will pay to have the panels replaced.
Thank you for your continued support! We appreciate the kind words!

Just thought I'd update everyone on here just in case someone else is currently dealing with the same panel damage. It took a few months, but between the inspection, SC appointment, parts delay, and then phone calls with Discount Tire Corporate discussing payment, I finally received a reimbursement check for the parts.

When the local manager reached out after a few PMs with @Discount Tire he was pretty skeptical his guys did any damage, but when he took a look for himself he agreed pretty quickly they messed up. I got a quote from the SC for parts and labor and after a few months of back and forth and some waiting, a check came in the mail a week or two ago and was deposited on Friday.

Overall I probably won't go back to that particular one, but I'm confident enough that @Discount Tire will handle any issues. Good thing there's at least three of them here in San Antonio ?

I went through the same process and eventually received a check. Not being able to buy parts directly from Rivian was the most difficult part. I had to get a quote from an “authorized service center” to replace panels that I could easily change at home.
I will still go to discount tire but I’m putting in the magnetic pucks prior to them touching it….

Agreed. Since the nearest SC is at minimum (with and construction and traffic hardly ever) an hour and a half away I just tried to get them to give me the panels rather than leaving my truck there. You would think for cosmetic stuff like that they'd be begging for customers to do the install and help free up appointments haha.

I'm definitely ordering magnetic pucks for the next time.
