I looked for this and didn't find it anywhere online.
I just got a 22 R1T - I noticed when I'm charging at home, the screen is giving me the cost to charge. It seems super high. I'm assuming it's not using what my electricity actually costs. Is there a way to input my actual cost? Or how does Rivian calculate this cost?

I'm... curious... ?

Do you have a picture of this when charging at home?

Very odd indeed and looks like a bug to me.
Also the amount of energy going to cabin temps and accessories is mind-boggling ... :)

Yeah probably a bug. I haven’t seen it before.
Think the energy going there could be a problem? Or is it more likely because it’s new to me I’ve just been playing in it and it’s also 0 degrees here, and I did the December update.

Do you use the Rivian wall charger? If you do you may be able to add you local/home charging rate/utility. I use a chargepoint wall charger and in my chargepoint app i can add my local utility rate so it tabulates my charging cost in that app.

Same for the Emporia App and the Emporia App tells me the cost for the home sessions but the Rivian does not.

There's not a way to add cost for the Rivian wall charger, at least to my knowledge. I just tried again in the app to make sure I didn't miss anything

Try a soft reset (hold outer steering wheel buttons) and charge again to see if it cleared the bug. Repeat process with a hard reboot (left steering wheel button and hazard lights). If it is still showing a dollar amount, put in a ticket with Rivian.

Definitely a bug. And if power costs $1.70/kWh *ANYWHERE*, I would never charge there. ($34 would cover 4 full 0-100% charge sessions at home for me charging during off-peak.)
