How long should it take to replace a drive unit?

Took delivery 6/27 in Austin at SC(flawless)
3 hours and around 30 miles of city driving later, as I got up to 75mph in all purpose mode, the vehicle warned me to stop or it would stop, and it did.
Luckily I had exited the toll road, but was stuck on a busy off ramp, where the SC dispatched a tow truck to get me back to the SC. They have been accommodating, but Rivian employees got a 4 day weekend, so today they called to tell me a single drive unit failed, part ordered, will let me know when is repaired. Seems like a complicated repair fraught with possible inter repair issues.
Has anyone else had a similar issue, and how long should it take to repair?

I had my rear drive unit replaced. Once they received the part it was only a matter of days. All has been great since.

Same here. Two days in the shop after parts arrived.

When mine failed it took a week to get a replacement from Normal and a few days to install. It’s been fine in the 8 months since.
