Pretty much what mine does. When I see people post about quiet trucks it really frustrates/boggles my mind. My loaner is worse than my truck.

It is hard to hear, but I have the same issue since I pulled out of the parking lot on the delivery day ... I have a service appointment scheduled for 1st of March..

Not sure if this is the same issue/noise most of us on this thread are hearing.

I have a week old R1T with a noisy front end. It sounds like a 1992 Ford Explorer. The best words I can use is rattles and squeeks. Does anyone have a video they can share to see if we are all talking about the same issue. Here is a link to my video. It's hard to capture the noise on the phone but you'll get the idea.

I think that’s the spline creak though…not the suspension squeak? Not sure.

I just drove my wife's '23 Volvo XC90 and realized how quiet it is. Nobody can convince me that it's normal for a modern, new truck to sound like my R1T. I had a friend in it earlier today and I was embarassed when he commented on the sound coming from the front end.

I had a friend ride in my truck who owns a Model Y. His comment was his Model Y was louder and had more clunks.

I'm worried some of the newer companies (Tesla, Rivian, etc) don't have the decades of experience designing suspension systems.

The spring creaking videos that have been posted in the past sound nothing like my truck. The springs are quiet. It is a clunking sound, not a squeaking or tocking (gear lash / CV joint) sound.

It appears there may be three separate conditions:

1. Springs squeaking
2. CV joints with a tocking sound
3. Suspension with a clunking sound

Tend to agree and mine falls in the #3 clunking sound.
Haven't had #2 CV tock yet but SC is lubbing them anyway.
Not aware of any spring squeaking. I do have some minor squeaks inside the cabin that I can't figure out where it's coming from. That is on my service list. Tech did hear something near the back door on ride a long.

Unfortunately not same. Mine did that too and was fixed, but impact noises still persist.

This is different, this is the low speed creak that comes from the CV axle.

Have three Model Y's in the extended family (mine is a performance). Never heard clunks from any of the vehicles in any situation. Suspension is quiet.

Yeah, mine need to be done and can be moved by hand a little. I suppose that could be reverberating as the suspension sound too.

Let's us know your outcome. Mine were also done by service center and it did get rid of the creaking noises, but not the thumping, clunking type noise on bad road surfaces.
