How to disable exterior charging lights?

I am charging in campgrounds on this travel camping trip, which is a huge benefit.
I’m frustrated, however, by the green light bar on the R1T lighting up like a sign advertising that I am charging. I lock the vehicle, and it turns off, but if I touch my phone or key fob in the trailer, it starts up again. How can I disable this light show, short of clipping wires?

Light bar is a setting but you can't turn off the charge port light without locking. I have tape over ours so we don't have to leave the vehicle locked.

1. Camp courtesy mode disables proximity, sounds, and exterior lighting. Turn it on for your neighbor's sake. It'll auto turn off if you hit 8mph while driving, or you can toggle it off yourself before leaving.
2. The charging light bar can be disabled in the vehicle settings, pretty sure it's under lighting.

Camp mode doesn't solve this light, which annoys me too. I cover with a towel at night, but come on Rivian.

I left about a 1" square exposed in the upper right corner. The charge port cover does an okay job obscuring what's left during charging. It'd be nice to have a setting that turns off the green light after X number of minutes but would still display the error ring if something isn't working.

- There is no setting to really only turn off the charging light (it will glow steady again when fully charged, typically in middle of night).

- Locking the car at home is problematic as unlocks constantly when a phone goes by in yard.

-Turning off all exterior lights is a poor sledgehammer and not helpful when getting to car at night.

- Camp mode is a workaround. Towel is better/faster workaround.

I think you completely missed the point of the comment.

OP was referring to the light bar during charging. There is a setting to turn this off completely during charging.

Some others (including yourself) are referring to the light at the charge port (that evidently cannot be turned off).

OP's problem can be solved by simply turning off the setting. The other problem, I guess, needs tape or a towel.

There were 8 posts before yours giving you several solutions. So yes, snark is warranted if you think it's too much trouble to read what has already been written.
