This is true. I had my truck parked at the ski hill last winter where Gary helpfully showed me someone taking a leak right by the front wheel. There was a whole lot there that I didn't need to see.

That's...unfortunate. Out of curiosity, what are you doing looking through the Gear Guard videos in a loaner? I used to look at all mine when I first got my truck but haven't checked them in ages.

Oh God! Who really cares if someone pees on the ground? Dogs do it too. It's a natural function and pee is acidic, it's sterile. Probably more environmental than flushing three gallons of water down a toilet just because someone had to take a leak.

The things people think are gross these days just blows my mind. It's like everyone under 60 was raised in a "no-no" environment. It's a free country, don't try to make every little thing inappropriate and off-limits. Next up: Someone spit on the ground.

If it's outdoors, he gets a free pass. If it's inside on the shop floor, I'd say his manager might want to have a word with him....

And when we get Gary Live, this becomes interesting. Imagine getting the alert on the phone and then immediately honking the horn. Results, a viral video (with certain parts blurred) of a guy jumping 2 feet in the air and peeing themselves!

Most of the time they will turn on service mode when it's in the shop. Gary is disabled in service mode as are remote commands through app. You can still locate the vehicle though through the app if you have that enabled.

This is a loaner. So when they have it at the SC it’s not in service mode because it’s a regular “in use” vehicle

this was not my truck that caught the footage but the truck that is owned by rivian and sits until it needs to be used.
