in car Nav Search issues

Anyone else getting 'Search Error' when they try to search for something from the car? (non-voice)
Both infotainment and full reboot did not fix the issue.

Never seen that screen before. That almost seems like an issue on Google’s end?

Yep. Had that on Thursday. Search for "Deer Park", a POI in Olympic NP not far from me at the time. Kept getting that same message. Never did have it succeed. Had full bars of LTE. I seem to remember it wasn't auto populating suggestions either.

I don't do a lot of nav searching, so I haven't tried again since.

almost every morning. It’s not a remote area either

We rarely use the Nav to search as we've found it easier using our phone, then the "send to your Rivian" command directly from either Google or Apple Maps

I had this same thing Friday evening in SF Bay Area while typing destination searches. Glad it wasn't just me?

We are doing as @Mathme reported, using 'send' from a smartphone, so this is AFAIK something new in the 2025.18.30 update. We have a service appointment coming up, and have added this for them to look into. I'll report back after the June 26 appointment..

Perhaps this was just because of the temporary cloud outage yesterday?

I’ve had it Thursday through Saturday. Started when I had no cell signal, but persisted even after I had signal. Changing to add more to the search, for instance instead of “Romana Falls” (which didn’t autocomplete to anything, just the search error) to “Romana Falls Trailhead” (which worked as a destination)
