I live in a small town in the mountains of Utah. I frequently make the trip north to the city to do some shopping. Much of the trip is on a narrow, winding road, which is what US Hwy 89 looks like in this part of Utah. Last time I went up, last week, I was amazed by the mileage I was getting. I set the cruise control on 70 and it was a mild day. I didn't have to use the heated seats or steering wheel. As long as I have plenty of range I don't really think about miles/KWh. I happened to notice that the fifteen minute mileage snapshot was over 3 miles per kilowatt hour. I don't think I've ever gotten that kind of mileage before. I am wondering if any of the recent OTA updates have made significant improvements in R1T mileage.

It's the same trip as always and the same mountains. I think what I will do next time is use my trip odometer. It can give info for the whole trip rather than 15-minute snapshots. Anyway, over 2 mi/Kwh is considered good mileage and over 3 is really good.

This was just a small portion of your total efficiency picture. No real bearing or indication of your actual effecincy in the real world. It's like coasting downhill in a Charger seeing 99mpg... Means next to nothing.

I have had my R1T approaching 2.5 years and my trip from home to our beach house has consistently left me with 50 miles of range upon completion. In the last 3 months, I now have 70… not sure what has changed? Yes, sometimes better or worse w wind or cold, but on the average… now 20 miles better…
