Issues with Highway Assistance

I’m curious if anyone else is having issues with their Highway Assistance system?

Back in September, after the update, I noticed my Highway Assistance would randomly shut off. I tried a full reboot, which seemed to fix it temporarily, but during a 4-hour drive, I had to reboot it three times. I reached out to support, but they said they hadn’t received any similar complaints. They scheduled an appointment for me but later informed me the issue would be resolved in the next update.

I got the update, but the problem persisted. Another update rolled out in October, which was also supposed to fix it, but the issue continued. After another appointment and more waiting, I was told again that the next update would resolve it.

Now, after the latest update, things have actually gotten worse. The system shuts off all sensors, gives a brief warning, and abruptly reduces speed—twice, I almost got rear-ended on the highway because of this.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

I had some of the issues and what fixed it was letting it sleep for an hour (app off, no proximity sensing, etc). Once I woke it up and plugged it in at home, the errors went away and everything started working again. Soft and hard reboots did nothing.

I did do that and still nothing…. Let’s see what they say next month when I drop it off.
