It’s normal in high suspension.
but I think it’s happening in normal height for some people too.

It’s not great feeling, the vibration and noises it makes from the half shaft

I don't have this issue, and I've probably done more 0-60 runs than most people here by a long shot. At the same time, I learned from my Tesla Model S Plaid, which many owners had a similar issue.

Running it in the lowest suspension settings seemed to help a lot with it. I was always in low or lowest with it and never had an issue. I also avoided accelerating hard while turning and keeping it as straight as possible when anything over about 50% power. Absolutely no issues so far with any halfshaft noise with my Plaid after 3 years of ownership

So that is what I've done with my truck since I've owned it for the last 6k mile (total of 12k). No issues with any halfshaft noise either. Most of the time around town, I am in sport mode low with my G1 quad. If the roads are too rough, I'll go to AP standard until it gets better. On the highway I am normally in AP low.

Just got into the SC. The knocking was the drive unit. Full replacement underway.

That's going to be expensive. Thankfully you they are under warranty (I hope). That is their in-house designed motors too.

Mine is Bosch. QM. I think the problem is not the motor itself but "transmission"

Just a quick update on this issue - finally I had time to let my truck to SC. As you see, I first noticed the problem in Oct 24. The problem was resolved by replacing the Front Drive unit (gear lash), Halfshafts, and Hubs.

The truck is great now. I never did any off-road or launching; I was easy on acceleration.
SC was amazing, but I ask myself - how all of this happens to the 29k , 2 years old truck in the first place?

I also think that many trucks developed the same issue, but they are drivable, and most of people do not pay attention to the knocking. Maybe I am wrong

Same issue. Gen1 R1T on 20" ATs. The sound only appears in high suspension setting when accelerating at >70% power. The SC said it's normal and didn't do anything about it.
Does it sound like the sides of the tread are hitting the ground under rapid torque? Mine will do it in standard height, but it never happens in low height.

I was thinking it was a lack of road force balance.

It sounds like you are on a quiet rumble strip on the freeway. Or a knocking of a gas engine.

exact same symptoms front right only. Gen2 Tri R1S. SC said it was normal… but feeling and hearing the quiet rumble strip on every hard acceleration seems weird to me.
