Liftgate lights not working?

I noticed that the liftgate lights on the R1S are the same as the frunk lights and I wanted to swap in the ultra bright Abstract Ocean lights. I’m talking about the lights that face backwards when the liftgate is up, not the ones that face down at the ground.

The issue is that I can’t even get these lights to turn on. I have tried the controls in the settings and nothing seems to work. My brother-in-law also has an R1S (a much earlier build) so I asked him to check his and he has the same issue. It’s possible that something wasn’t plugged back since we both have full PPF.

Anyone else have this issue?

My R1S is away getting tint and PPF but I think you liftgate lights are on to the right of your lower picture and that your finger is pointed at rear license plate illumination lights.

Yes, those are for the license plate

Thanks, I knew it was something obvious. For some reason I thought they were scene lights that you could use when camping.
