The only extra besides the wrap will be to tint the front windows to the legal limit to closer match the rears.

Finally, I will add that I have been surprisingly pleased with the look of the 21s with the black vinyl from @twraps. These pics give a pretty good look at them.

A couple pics I thought I’d post from my past couple weeks. Below is on my way back from CES on Sunday I had to stop for an obligatory pic or two. The less dramatic shot in the snow was near Immigrant Gap just after Christmas while I was visiting family up north. On the 21’s it handled things well, but it also wasn’t a very cold snow that week. I camped a couple days during that trip, thus the RTT on there. I really only included that pic as I like how Limestone looks in the snow!

Here’s the first customer delivery of Overland Ruff Rax bed rack system for the R1T (not affiliated with them at all)

I go into more detail on the Reddit page , but a quick rundown.

I previously ran the tent on the bed with rivian racks. I had about an average of 1.8ish efficiency, now (small sample size) I am getting 1.99 efficiency. I have included pictures of efficient before and after the rack. I was very surprised by the efficiency boost, I believe it’s because now the spoiler directs the air below the tent, rather than directly at it. I will post a 1k mile update.

Also included pictures of visibility out the rear window before and after the rack. This was a huge perk for me.

This mounts to the factory receivers, no drilling required! Tonneau cover is still 100% usable.

I understand at first the price was a question for some people, they have since adjusted their prices but it is still a hard pill to swallow. From my personal experience with them, I believe it's worth the money, but everyone uses this truck in different ways, so for some people it might now be worth the money. Just to put this in perspective as of right now this is the only bed rack system you can buy right now, and one of the only ones who figured out how to use the special Rivian Receivers. Another commented on one of the forums was this "there may be a Rivian premium but the reality is the R1T is a much lower volume truck compared to the Tacoma and some of the other vehicles they make these for. I’m assuming they priced these so that the breakeven/profit point accounts for the lower number of expected units sold." which definitely makes a good point, we don't own a tacoma, we own a very low production and new to the market vehicle, it will take some time and competition until prices for accessories fall more in line with some vehicle you all may be used to.

Some of the main driving factors for this purchase for me personally, I wanted more bed access again, I wanted increased visibility, I want convenient mounting solutions for my adventures, and just simply love the looks of this!

Do you have any pictures in the daylight? I’m debating going with Twraps or getting it powder coated.

Are they the perfect wheel - no. I originally selected the black 20’s but that didn’t work out. If you are going to stick with the 21’s then powder coating would be worth it. For me, I will probably switch. So the TWraps are a good solution for now.

Thank you. Saw those on a FG and didn’t like it, like it much better on the limestone.

I do like the contrast, the question now is whether my black center caps will look odd.

Im not sure I’ll keep them, I go back and forth. I prefer the look of the 22s the ride of the 21s and the range. Right now the plan is for the 21s to be my travel set. Road trip and towing.

Decided to try out black on my wheels. Used the ones by https://www.brainexplodermerch.com/product-page/rivian-r1t-r1s-22-wheel-vinyl-decals

It's a tedious process and a hair dryer is your friend. Recommend taking wheels off. Good time to do a rotation and clean brake calipers at the same time. I just had the SC do a 4 tire rotation so I swapped in the spare during this project.

After- It's not perfect but you'd never notice. For $50 it was worth it to try. And I can always remove later.

Didn’t make it 20ft from the driveway before stopping for the first show & tell.

Is it weird that I’m bummed when I have to get out whenever I’m done going somewhere? Like I want to spend more time in it? Just finished a 50min drive to Newark for a flight and the drive flew by, no pun intended.

I’m an audiophile of sorts…Meridian system is sick but low end definitely lacking as said as nauseum. Going to have a custom box made for under back seat


I literally didn’t know til the day before delivery there’s no SXM. That’s just crazy to me. Using SiriusXM app for the time being.

Quad motor pickup is insane, still haven’t fully utilized it.

Backseat legroom is about 1/2 of my Jeep GC which I admit was very generous.

My wife actually likes the interior!! She’s been quiet on the exterior so far.

Truck does not unlock when I approach, only when I try to open a door handle. Can I fix this in settings? It auto locks when I leave.

The 20” Dark AT wheel/tire combo is way better in person. Much beefier and “truck” looking than online.

Can’t wait for the clear matte PPF/Ceramic/Stealth job to be done next week. Bummed I’ll have to go a solid 4-5 days without driving it!!
