They aren't any different than before, really. The commands that work without Connect+ are the ones that control your vehicle. All others require Connect+ or a phone tether.

I've noticed (not sure if it was a fluke), but if I try to share a destination from my phone, the truck no longer picks it up in the nav, even though the phone says sent successfully. Used to work, and just tried yesterday, and didn't do anything, even while sitting in the truck with my phone connected to it with BT.

LOL, that's how I feel when ever asking for directions or to make a call, sometimes she works as expected, and other times just offers up completely nonsense from what I asked, so horrible...and that was before the connect + subscription. I've found myself yelling at her the shut the F@#$ Up too many times when I ask her to call someone and she responds with something not even close, after several asks! I love my truck, but our tesla is soo much better when it comes to voice commands...this is the only part I dislike about it. I really wish they would dump her for google maps and voice.

Interesting. I use the Alexa interface almost every time I’m driving my R1T. Perfect? No - nothing is. Helpful? Most of the time. Sorry that you aren’t evening a positive experience. ?

I do Alexa take me home/work, Call (spouse name), my kids love it when they ask her random things like the alexa in our house.

I really wish they allow changing the name.

Yeah, I need to further expand my knowledge of just how ridiculously screwed up Alexa is. I saw the "change name" thing and thought it would also apply everywhere. You know, like any modern integrated service. Pathetic.
