LMAO yeah good luck with that. I have turned down 3 offers already and all were above 15k. As more and more deliveries are made and hype keeps building and the more people hear about these, the prices for selling a reservation (early deliveries) and actual rivians are going to skyrocket. We will see rivians selling for 150k mark my words. Ill reply here in the future with a link and a "told you so". 75k or 150k is essentially the same when it comes to people with money and when you have money and want something that is low in supply and high demand youll pay to get it. Rivians are very limited in supply and will continue to be for a while. Especially with all of the supply chain problems.

Here's what I don't understand. Here is what the same truck I'm ordering would cost now to buy.

Now if you sell it they charge you short term gains on that and in my stocks that I've done that's almost 50%. So if you want the truck and go to order another after paying the tax and the new cost you are at almost $150,000 to break even. Or am I completely off or missing something on this?

Good catch, now i question if he made that much. His acronym in his name is likely 'go f*** yourself rivian forums" - Also seems like enough proof that he had intent to sell and should not qualify for the 7500.

I'm kinda curious of a mid cycle refresh on Taycan - myself. I think of upcoming non Rivian EV - Macan and Polestar 3 are the ones to watch.
