Lost phone key setup…

Anybody else experience this? Phone key randomly stopped working

I just experienced the same thing. I blamed it on my wife, who drove away with the fob and hadn't set up her key yet despite owning it for weeks.

So I tried deleting and re-adding and hope I didn't mess more up. But yeah, the system seems broken right now.

Wow I was getting really irritated. I was in a very low reception area, and I tried to access my truck via the app over cell service, the app crashed, wouldn't let me back in. Then I haven't been able to re-pair my phone. I actually had the carabiner key on me for once, otherwise I'd have been stranded... not good Rivian

Yeah I was getting frustrated as well. When the phone key went out, my key card wasn’t working either

Just happened this evening for me as well. Long session with roadside assistance and many deletions, rebootings, and re-pairings of iPhone key failed to get the phone key working again. Waiting to try again in the morning.

I woke up this morning to the same issue. It happened to me about a week ago and I had to call service to set my phone back up. I could remove the key from the app but it wouldn’t remove from the truck.
has anyone got their phone set back up without calling service?

It’s fixed now. Remove key from phone and add again…
This can lead to very scary uncomfortable situation if you don’t have physical key access.
