I disagree it’s a zero sum game. More alternatives in the large size EV market will attract more buyers, and each can get more customers. Bigger pie, bigger slices for everyonethis definitely has the potential to take a bite out of R1S sales. if you haven't noticed 75-80% (maybe more) of R1S drivers are soccer moms so they don't really care about the offroad capabilities.
they want a 3 row, family vehicle. id guess this is going to have more family convenient features and be more luxurious than the R1S. if the 3rd row has at least the same room as the R1S, is in the same price range, and they can produce these soon, the R1S could take a big hit.
