You could just as well have updated that other thread, and it would have been just as visible as this one.

There are >130 posts in that other thread. By opening up a new thread and pretending that other one doesn't exist you're being disrespectful to everyone who tried to contribute to that thread. Does everyone now need to repeat all that discussion here? And if this is an "update" why haven't you corrected all the wrong information from that other thread and cited that other thread?

Unless someone has more recent data, based on the old thread efficiency was being reported in the 1.7 to 1.8 MPK range. Not sure why OP doesn't want to share the MPK for the 4,000 miles, it would be really useful since Florida's mild climate means it will be higher MPK than most here would average...my best guess is it's around 20% worse than the OEM 20" Pirelli's, but more data points are needed...

There are quite a few helpful replies to the previous post on the Platinums, people were reporting between 1.8 and 2.2, but not clear which driving mode (guessing 2.2 is in conserve, and 1.8 is AP)...hopefully someone can give an update that includes MPK.

1300 miles on mine averaging 2.25 so far. Full time AP mode. Was getting 2.0 out of OEM 20”(replaced at 14k miles).

2 days ago I installed EV Sportline R1000 wheels with 285/60/20 Platinums mounted. Have only driven 80 or so miles so far. I went with the 285/60 because I wanted a slightly beefier tire than the 21's and am hoping that the increased weight and size don't kill my efficiency too much.

I drive a 400mile round trip each week on the same roads (200 up, 200 back) and have extensive documentation of the data from at least 12 of those trips on the 21's, and I will collect the same for these new shoes and be able to make an exact comparison.

Interesting note is that Discount Tire calculates the new tire pressure as 50psi. I questioned it, but they said 'this is what the computer tells is for the new pressure'. 50 seemed too low, so I brought it up to 55 last night, but have not driven the truck yet.

There is a slight tire sound at 50mph up to 55 or so, other then that these are very quiet and smooth, maybe that was related to the low pressure? That being said, my 21's were quiet and smooth as well, and wore evenly.

Will repost when I put some miles down and learn more.

I run them at 55psi.

All purpose, quad motor, mixed city/hwy driving. Central Oregon.

This is in the metro Atlanta area with about 10 miles of interstate travel at 80mph each way to work/home M-F, so not super efficent driving.

Looking good! Not sure if you know (or anyone else). Watched a video review of the tire (), the channels actually (some?) go all the way around the tire, just have flaps/bridges accross the top but underneath they connect...interesting:
Wonder how the tire is once those wear out?

Look forward to your review, one interesting aspect of this tire is that it's ~60# but tread is only 14/32...for example the Destination XT is 16/32 and only 52#s...thinking it's a very hard compound to be able to last that long....sounds like wet handling and traction may be an issue...

Platinums went on today. Way too early to report efficiency, but my quiet vehicle returned!! 2nd set of Scorpions at 15-20k miles that just got way too loud! Fingers crossed the Michelins don’t do the same.

I put these on mine last week. So far so good and efficiency is about the same if not slightly better. Car is so quiet again and I’m loving every minute of it. I have PSI around 50 but might go a little higher from what folks on here are saying.

Just installed these. My Pirellis lasted 38k miles but were loud the last 20k. So far very happy with these. I was nervous about getting rid of A/T tired and ruining the look of the truck but they look great, handle well (20 miles in). Only downside is they are so quiet I now realize I have a wind noise issue ?. If you are looking for a more highway oriented tire, you can’t go wrong with these.

BTW Costco recommended 55 PSI, will report back on efficiency but I was averaging 2.2 on the Pirellis over 38k miles.

Just installed these. My Pirellis lasted 38k miles but were loud the last 20k. So far very happy with these. Did you get Costco to install these? I have tried on their site and they don’t seem to have any results.
