Could they be waiting for the winter tire requirement to be lifted? Simplifies things. I know they could deliver all seasons but some clients would want help sourcing tires I assume. Or they could just not be ready.

I think all the tires have the M&S designation. At least for sure the 21s and 20s do so they qualify. Not sure about the 22s.

Maybe Montreal will force rivian to offer winter tires because right now their winter package is the regular 20s which suck.

I confirm the 20s have the M&S and the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol. The tires are fine during the winter but not as great as other “proper” winter tires. I decided to get the hakkapeliitta this year and they work great. Under rated for speed but I am not driving over 90mph.
I don’t think the 21s are M&S rated [edit: both 21 and 22 tires have M&S rating, see following post]. If you get the 20 wheels, there are several options out there but none rated for both speed and weight (other than OEM) I think. Really hoping that they open soon, I have a couple of tickets and a recall that I would like to address.

Not legal in Quebec after Dec 1st. Must be a winter tire (3 peak).
M+S means all season tire

Oh they changed it? At one point I'm certain it was just m&s so many trucks were exempt.

Well then only the 20 inch applies then.
