Montreal service center location is confirmed!

I just got a call from Rivian service in Toronto to come to Ottawa to do service. I asked about Montreal they said they didn't think it was happening for awhile.

I just got a call from Rivian service in Toronto to come to Ottawa to do service. I asked about Montreal they said they didn't think it was happening for awhile.

Was it the call center for Rivian service or the actual Toronto service center? In my experience, service centers don’t usually call unless when you are taking delivery or already have a car being serviced.

It was the call center they called me to say the service center was suppose to call me and if they didn't it should be early next week.

It's a little unique they are trying to schedule mobile service for Ottawa

Yeah I had a couple of call with the call center and depending who you talked to they say that it’s soon or not really. That’s one of Rivian’s issues, the service provided by the agents is inconsistent. At least that has been my experience. Most of them are very good though. I have 4-5 tickets opened and they called me today for the last one I submitted they knew I was waiting for Montreal to open.

Dropped by this AM. No change at all.

Perhaps they are offering to service you in Ottawa as if they did in QC, they’d likely have to offer comms, invoices and the like in both languages and they might not be ready. Perhaps that’s the holdup. The web site, the car’s UI, etc. may not be ready yet in FR.

2024.07.02 beta shows that vehicle launch support in QC was pulled from the firmware. Wouldn't expect a QC launch until it makes it's way back in:

Interesting. There was also that email announcing Québec launch that they pushed out and then walked back a couple hours later. They must have realized something wasn’t not there yet.

Rivian guide called me 2 weeks back. They're looking to commence Montreal deliveries in April-May. Asked if ready to go (yes) and if willing to change wheels and/or paint (no). Are waiting for them when they're ready.

Anyone else got a guide call? Starting to worry they will stop making LEs when shutdown occurs - Montreal LEs might be the last, thats if they even manage to squeeze us in.

By that analogy, Im in my 6th bottle…if I need a 7th, it wont be vitamins
