I'm trying to install the twraps mudguard and the rears don't fit with the bracket. @twraps can you take a look and let me know if I'm doing something wrong? The bracket just looks too short to reach the hole.

The bracket goes on the other side of the mudflap. That will get you the extra 3/8-1/2” based on your first picture.

just went out to my garage to check - maybe not pushing pack to be flush?

Not a fan of the Rally Armor mudflats for the simple reason that you have to order with their logo on them (even black). I get it that companies want their TM out there, but I don't need it plastered 2x on each side of my truck.

Some of these designs also seem to stick outside of the wheel wells. I wonder how that'll affect the airflow along the sides of the vehicles ...

Thanks that seems to work but what's the point of the slots in the cutout then? And the bracket looks like it's splitting between the layers too. Don't know how long this will last.

Truck and SUV have different rear bumper designs - it’s built to accommodate both, as far as I know.

Is this on a R1T? I found a design issue caused by my after redesigning them which only affects the R1T (as I tested on my own R1S and I know that one fits). If so please DM me with your order # and I will send the corrected brackets right away. Apologies for this.

Just wanted to update Twraps already sent out the replacement brackets. Great customer service and thanks!
Let me know how your efficiency is impacted, if at all.

The Rally Armour probably robbed me about 3-5% (pretty significantly), which wasn't an issue in the summer, but I've pulled them off for the cold weather commuting. And I think I've decided I'll use these only for off-roading adventures.

That said, I'd love if there was some solution that'd help me keep from kicking tons of road salt and cinders up under the truck this winter... so a lower profile mud guard might be the better option here.

Will try but I just got the truck so not much of a reference without the mudguards. But I'd be shocked if it affected efficiency at all. The mudguard profile is pretty much even with the tire width.

Strongly considering the twraps guards. Just did a test run with a camper and the rear tires left a nice pattern of mud and slush almost all the way up the front corners of the camper.

Hey apologies for the late note on this and even bigger apologies for not having updated the listing/video yet, BUT - the idea of these rectangular holes on the new mud flaps is to insert the bracket through them and then the bracket would pull the mud flap towards the wheel well to reduce the gap between the two.

If I just ordered and am expecting delivery early this week, will it have the updated r1t bracket?

Yes, I immediately threw away all pre-made ones (about a week or so ago) as soon as I found out so all mud flaps are now with the R1T + R1S compatible bracket. It's flat and comes with a separate raiser which you can use or not (up to you) depending on how you like it to look where it connects to the truck.

Yeah, I like the idea of those but the wheel facing side will hold onto caked on mud. Bad design.
