Navigation arrival time doesn't update when crossing between timezones

I live in the US Mountain timezone, and regularly drive back and forward to the Pacific timezone. If I'm using my nav on a cross-timezone drive I see the expected arrival time is set to my departure timezone. However, that arrival time doesn't get updated as expected when I'm in the (different) arrival timezone. As much as I'd love be able to travel back in time (Pacific to Mountain drives show my arrival time earlier than the current time ), it looks to me like something that could be enhanced. Rivian recommends a tech take a look, but I don't think it's a problem specific to my R1S. I do have precise location enabled for nav, so "knowing" where it is isn't a problem. Anyone else encounter this, and if so, did you already request an enhancement?

Does the clock automatically update when you cross into other time zones, or DST zones? I assume so, but no idea how fast it updates based on your GPS coordinates.

Yes, the clock updates as expected, though it may take a minute. The arrival time never updates though.

This has sadly been "normal" behavior since I got my truck in early 2023. It really does seem like something that should be fixable, but I believe ABRP has the same issue and Rivian bought that company a few years ago and uses their tech on the backend for in-vehicle route planning. I'll be driving from Mountain to Central time next month and always have to remind myself about the time change issue with nav. IIRC, if you end and restart the nav after the vehicle clock has changed it should be accurate after that.

Yeah, the second time I told my brother I'd get to his place at a time that seemed off, he reminded me that the Rivian nav is retarded and I should use CarPlay instead. But the CP unit doesn't do charging stops.

Yesterday I drove east from Mountain TZ into Central TZ. Arrival time estimate did *eventually* update. But it took over an hour before it did.
Going west the previous week it took about 30 minutes before it updated.

There's definitely a bug there to fixed @Rivian
Arrival time estimate should update at the same time as the clock, at the very least. At best, it should show arrival time in the timezone of the destination right from the start, IMHO.
